Prabhupada Meditations

Srila Prabhupada is easily available through his books, videos, recordings, letters, photos, murtis, and the temples he established. Srila Prabhupada's disciples with their vast repertoire of their memories and anecdotes add to the tapestry of qualities of our dear Srila Prabhupada. Many devotees have also expressed their love for him in their paintings. So he is easily accessible. The latest exhibition of the Museum of Sacred Arts in Belgium offers exquisitely beautiful collection of portraits drawn by amazingly talented artist Anuradha Devi Dasi. These portraits are based on photos of Srila Prabhupada, yet Anuradha has captured his features, expressions, moods and charisma in a unique way that reinvigorate the special moments.

 

This book goes along with the exhibit. Each portrait is accompanied by a short text written by various devotees, who share with us their understand of how Srila Prabhupada exemplifies the twenty-six qualities of a Vaisnava mentioned in the Caitanya-caritamrta (Madhya 22.78-80)

 

It is simply an astounding meditation. Its Prabhupada Meditation. Very deep and up close and personal.
