One night while Srila Bhaktivinoda was on the roof of his home deeply meditating oin the place where Sri Caitanya appeared, he experieneced a divine vision of an effulgent cottage to the northeast. 

The next morning he went to the vicinity which was revealed to him and inquird from the mnay devoted Mayapura-vasis who resided in that area.

He was guided to a large mound of earth covered with Tulasi Plants . This was the exact spot of Jagannatha Misra's house.

The Thakura become supercharged with spiritual ecstasy, adn the manifestation of that ananda took  the form of Sri Nabadwipa-dharma-mahatmya.
