The purpose of this booklet is to show how it is both possible and beneficial to practice Krishna consciousness in your daily life while living and working outside of a temple or ashram. Krishna consciousness is dependent on following the principles of bhakti-yoga in all your activities. Of course, living in the association of devotees makes it easier to practice devotional service; however, if you are determined you can follow the teachings of Lord Krishna and the spiritual master in your home and thus convert your home into a temple of Krishna. Indeed, if you seriously and steadily follow the guidance of the spiritual master, you eventually become qualified to accept initiation.
