It is a "spoken" tone in which the author is welcoming and appears to be speaking with the reader one-on-one. It takes a potentially complex subject and makes it accessible to all, those completely unfamiliar with the topic and those well-versed in it as well. This book is a wealth of information, and it's format is such that one can either skip around to different blogs or read it cover to cover. It is also easy to put down, in today's busy world, and pick up again due its content of stories. Some blogs are informative; some are touching---so much so that I actually cried; and some are highly personal. It is the author's journey in Krishna Consciousness, his successes and his failures, and he bares his soul with grace and with humor. His humility and loving-kindness shine through the pages, and any reader will be touched by the forthrightness of these tales.
